  1. In olden times the people took three meals a day.
    They called the first meal the breakfast; the second meal the dinner; and the last meal the supper.
    The people usually worked before their breakfast. At their breakfast they took bread and tea, at their dinner they took potatoes and meat, and at their supper they took potatoes also. There was a good deal of milk taken and milk was always called milk in this place.
