    he called to the priests house again and the priest was not at home this day either so Paddy went home and told his wife that he would have to go to the market and sell his oats so that he might make enough money to pay the rent. Next morning he started off (before) to the market in Galway with his cart of oats. He started off before day-break and when he was a few miles away from home it was day light and he met a little man and the little man said
