  1. In olden times people made baskets and that work is carried on in this place today. Baskets are made of rods. The rods are cut and boiled and then they are woven into baskets. The reason people boil the rods is to make them tough so that they would not break when they are bent in the weaving of the basket. When making little shop baskets they take
