  1. St. Stephens day falls on the 26th December each year. On this day the young boys catch a little bird called a wren. They dress themselves up and go from house to hoes singing and dancing and the the people give them money and bread and milk also.
    Saint Patricks day falls on the 17th March each year because it was on that day this great Saint died and the shamrock is worn in his honour
