  1. There are different species of wild animals in this county Namely. The deer which is very plentiful in Dromoland, The fox, the Squirrel, the Weasel, the Rabbit, the Hare, the Hedge-Hog, the Rat, the Mouse, the Badger.
    The deer lives in woods, He eats shrubs, grass and the bark of the trees. The fox is a very bad animal. He lives in a burrow. He goes around at night looking for fowl.
    The squirrel lived in the trees. He eats nuts, and he puts away a lot of them for the year. The weasel lives in the hole of a wall, and in old ruins. He eats rats and rabbits.
    The rabbit lives in a burrow. He eats clover and and turnips.
