The deer which is very plentiful in Dromoland, The fox, the Squirrel, the Weasel, the Rabbit, the Hare, the Hedge-Hog, the Rat, the Mouse, the Badger.The deer lives in woods, He eats shrubs, grass and the bark of the trees. The fox is a very bad animal. He lives in a burrow. He goes around at night looking for fowl.The squirrel lived in the trees. He eats nuts, and he puts away a lot of them for the year. The weasel lives in the hole of a wall, and in old ruins. He eats rats and rabbits. The rabbit lives in a burrow. He eats clover and and turnips.(continues on next page)
