  1. One night as Michael Liddane was returning home from Kinvara he had to pass over a hill in the field. On his way he had to pass by a house which was on this hill and it was known to be haunted. He went into the house to light his pipe. The people of that house asked him to stay for the night. He said he would. He got a bed to sleep in but he got no food. When he woke in the morning he was lying on a stone by the roadside.
