    Whooping Cough- give milk to a ferret and do not let him drink it all. What is left is considered a cure for the whooping cough. If a man passed on a white horse whom you were not expecting, ask him has he any cure for the cough and whatever he says cures the cough.

    The Walshe’s blood- used cure St. Anthony’s fire.
