Locally when any-body gets rich without any appropriate reason or means of doing so, or if he falls in unexpectently for some windfall of money or land and if he should afterward put the money to some advantage or other in the nature of buying an extra bit of land or an extra cow or putting up a new barn the neighbours (particularly the old people) have a habit of saying - Oh tis easy for him - he got 'Mulall's money'.
    The writers thinking it referred to a hidden treasure investigated and this is the sotry he heard:-
    John Mulall or (Moloney)
    Looking at John one would think he was a fool. He had a small fortune saved up to about €20 which he would give to some trustworthy person to hold for a time till he became displeased with him when he would demand his money always in the same words "faith I want me money". "I want me money". It was handed around to different people always ending in same way. At last he became friends with his cousin the
