  1. Many people in my neighbourhood went to look for gold in different places but none ever got any or anything of the likes.
    This is a story which was told to me by a neighbour. There is a place a couple of hundred yards from my house on the road to Kilkishen called the "Góirtín" where there is said to be gold hidden under a tree.
    Did anybody try to get it?
    Yes. One night two men in Clonbrick dreamed of the gold being under the tree in the "Góirtín" and they would find a pipe over the gold. When morning came they were conversing. One man
