  1. Hide-and-go-Seek.
Any number of children can play this game. Half of them go and hide some-place. The other half look for then. When they get them they try to catch them. Then they themselves hide and the other ones look for them.
    "Hound and Hare"
Any number of children can play this game also. It is usually played by boys. One of them hides. Then the rest acting as hounds go in pursuit of him. They scatter in different directions and cheer and shout to rouse the "hare". Whoever gets it cheers to let the rest know. Then the "hare" runs off as quickly as it can and all the "hounds" in pursuit. Whatever "hound" catches the "hare" becomes the "hare" next time.
