  2. There are two smiths in this district and their names are Patrick Frawley and Patrck McMahon. Patrick Frawley's forge is situated about a hundred yards east of Cranny bridge and at the north side of the road. He makes ploughs, harrows gates and grates. he makes horseshoes and puts them on the horses hoofs. He mounts cars and puts the iron bands on wheels. Patrick McMahon's forge is situated to the west of Cranny bridge and at the north side of the road. Both forges are thatched.
