My father's uncle Peter Sexton also taught school in his own barn in Greaghagibney. There was another school-master named Mr Finegan. He taught school in Clifferna chapel before Clifferna old school was built.
- Long ago there was a hedge-school in a gravel-hole above Tonnyfoyle school. Mr. Nichal taught in it. He was an untrained teacher.
