It is quite right to spray the potatoes three times for the spraying will keep them safe
At the later end of August they are ready for digging Some people start to dig for the twelth of July.
The ridges are dug with spades, and drills are dug with potato-diggers. Boys and girls gather the potatoes and when they are gathered they are thrown into heaps called pits After some time the men bring in the potatoes in carts into the house and they pick the small ones for seed and the large ones for dinner also some people sell some of the potatoes.
