  1. This prayer is said when going to bed -
    Here I lay me down to sleep,
    I give my soul to Christ to keep,
    Waken now, or waken never,
    I give my soul to Christ for ever.
    Another prayer is -
    Thank God for having brought me
    save through the dangers of the past day,
    I beg of God to being me save through the dangers of this night.
    This prayer is said both in the morning and at night. When it is said in the morning, "the past night" is used instead of, "the past day", and this day is used instead of this night.
    Another prayer is -
    O Mary, my mother, and my hope,
    Under thy mantle I take refuge,
    There will I live and die,
    Deliver me from sin, and grant me thy holy blessing.
    This prayer is usually said when going to bed.
    Dear Little Jesus help me to be a
