   them brought to his house but no one knows what happened them since he died. There is a monument between here and Cavan at raven's rock. It is said that a man was running after a pig and he fell dead and he was buried where he fell. Everyone that passed that way threw a stone where he was buried and there is a heap of them at it now.

   There are ancient crosses and standing stones in this church. In the old church of Lurgan and Maybolge they are to be found.
   These two places are old churchyard and long ago when people used to be buried in them there were no cement or marble crosses, and they would get a large stone or flag and put it in the ground to mark the grave.
   There are ornamental stones in the parish. There are many of them
