  1. The cows are tied in different ways in the byers some of them are tied with a chain around their necks. The chain is divided into two parts and put on a swivel and a stake put down in the ground, at the end of one of the halves there is a link bent like a hook and catches in on the other half. If the chain was too loose she might get her horns in it and choke her self.
