  1. A sinking sun coloured red, indicates fine morrows but if it is coloured pale yellow, it indicates rainy morrows.
    The first quarter of the moon lying on its back holds rain.
    When the stars are running or falling it is a sign of a storm.
    A rainbow in the morning indicates bad weather, and a rainbow at night, indicates good weather.
    When the swallow (the swallow) flies high it is a sign of good weather, and when the swallow flies low, it is a sign of bad weather.
    When the cat sits with her back to the fire, it is a sign of a storm.
    When the starlings, and the crows, cluster in the fields it is a sign of rain.
    When a dog eats grass, it is a sign of rain.
    When the Robin and blackbird keep about the door in Winter, it is a sign of rain.
    When the guinea fowl screech loudly it is a sign of rain.
    When the goat and cow, look for shelter it is a sign of rain.
