It effected the country very mutch The district was populated very tickly that about one million people in the famine years died of hunger and starvation About a million people have left Ireland and went to foriegn countrys known as England Scotland and Canada to escape hunger from home. One protestant minister took off his shirt and put it on a fervent patient Sometimes sad to say a ship load of American Corn coming into and Irish Port ot feed the people would pass a ship load of Irish corn
