    Ring Worm.
    Tis cure is handed down from father to son. (First born) Ink is rubbed lightly along the edge of the sore with a pen or burned match (which is dipped in white burning)
    Three visits normally effects a cure.
    Whooping Cough
    A lock of hair from the head of a boy born after his father's death, and worn around the neck for a short period - usually a day or two.
