    On the ninth morning if there is any butter over, it is thrown behind the fire. The swelling and soreness are nearly always gone after the nine days, if not the cure is repeated.
    The cure of Falling Sickness is done by a bottle made up from Herbs and medicine from the Chemist.
    The cure of Jaundice is a charm.
    Sprained Joints are cured by pulling and saying of prayers.
    A bottle is made up for the cure of Ringworm. Mrs. Harkness.
    You must have faith in the cures or else they are no good. Payment must not be accepted, but you can offer something if you wish.
    If a person suffering from Mumps is led round the pigsty three times with the asses halter on him, he will be cured in a very short while.
    If suffering from a sty on the eye, point nine gooseberry thorns towards it for three mornings. It is said to be a perfect cure.
