  1. There was a woman living in Aughadreena in the end of the last century, and her name was Smith. She had a son. One night she had a dream and dreamed of the same thing for three nights after each other. One morning she rose early, and a neighbor saw her leave with her son. They brought some weapons with them. They went to a fort in Killnacreeva and having dug for some time, they came home. Before many months they had cows and a horse, though, before that they were starving. It was thought that it was a crock of gold they got.
