are bruised and mixed with the meal and it is made into small cakes and boiled in a pot of porridge.
Boxty is made at Hollow-Een. The first thing to be done is to peel raw potatoes and grate them. Then a boxty-bag is produced and the grated potatoes are put into it and squeezed. Then boiled potatoes are bruised and mixed with the grated ones. Some flour is also mixed with the potatoes. When it is mixed enough it is made into small cakes and boiled in a pot of water for an hour.
