A few miles out of Arklow, along the old Wicklow Road, is a place called Enneirilly, with a little grave-yard. About the time of Saint Patrick there was a bishop there - Bishop Dangan. Once he went over to pay a visit to the Archbishop of Canterbury. While he was there, the latter wrote a letter concerning him - "I have with me Bishop Dangan, who is a very bitter churchman." Not long ago that very letter was found in England.
