There is a narrow walk in Shelton Grounds called 'King James Walk'.

There is a narrow walk in Shelton Grounds called "King Jame's Walk." It is said that he used to ride on his horse or walk up and down it two or three times a day. It is overgrown by briars now.
Marjorie Hannan, The Gardens, Shelton Abbey, Arklow, Co Wicklow,
I heard this from Mrs Attride whose husband is butler in - Shelton Abbey, Arklow.
At the back of Shelton Abbey is a room in which it is said that King James in his flight from the Battle of the Boyne, to Duncannon Co Wexford, hid. It was a dairy then, and the hooks on which pieces of bacon used to hang are still to be seen.
    Marjorie Hannan, Shelton Gardens.
