  1. Local Cures.
    Long ago there were not many doctors around the district, and they were very expensive. it was very hard for the people to cure their diseases. They then cured themselves with herbs.
    Mr. Thomas Marshell, who lives in Old Leighlin is one of the noted people for curing diseases. He is able to cure every kind of skin disease.
    When a person is suffering from ring-worm he sends someone to Thomas Marshell. Thomas makes an ointment of which the exact recipe is not known. Some people say he puts lime which is very dangerous if he puts too much in it, and
