    There ar emany funny stories told in Leighlin - this is one of them.
    There was a man one time who lived about a quarter of a mile form Leighlin on the Kilkenny road. he was always wishing to catch a leprechaun for as you know the leprechaun is supposed to know where the money is.
    He searched for many a year and at last caught the leprechaun. He held him fast by the neck, and stared him hard, for if you take your eyes off the leprechaun, he is gone. "Where is the gold", said the man. "I'll tell you", said the leprechaun. "Go on tell me", said
