  1. Hidden Treasure.
    Dinn Ríogh.
    About two hundred yards from the "Protestant Church" on the trunk road to Kilkenny, stands "Dinn Ríogh". There is supposed to be a crock of gold hidden underneath a mound there, but to my knowledge no one has ever attempted to discover the treasure.
    There is a well near the mound. Locally known as "St. Patrick's Well. One evening a girl went to this well for a can of water and she said that she saw a little dwarf dressed in red sitting on the top of the mound, but as soon as he saw her he ran, and
