    A Night Prayer to Jesus
Jesus dear, the day is over,
May my labours all be right,
And before I rest my body,
I come to bid thee sweet Good-night.
    Prayer for God's Protection
If ever I go by Sea or Land,
I pray God to keep me at his right hand,
He's the branch, and I the flower,
God grant us all a happy hour.
    Morning prayer to Jesus
Jesus, my lord, beside us stay,
Shed down thy light upon my way,
Dispel the darkness from my day,
Spread oe'r the world thy soothing sway.
