    There is an old ruins of a mill on land of a (mill) man named of Wynn. years ago It was a flourishing industry as corn was ground in it, and salt and lime were also made.
    There was a shop in it also owned by a man by the mame of Thorpe. Fitzpatricks was a family who lived at the mill.
    There is a big tree on Corries hill it is called the fairy tree, people going by it at night time hear something making noise under the tree.
