  1. In the village of Shandra just outside Portarlington there lives a man called Mr Mangan who has inherited the gift of bone-setting from his ancestors. It has been in the family for generations. Any people in the district who are suffering from broken bones or bones out of place go to Mr Mangan and he is able to set the bones or even break them if they are not knitting properly,
