    placed in a pool of water for a time. When fit to remove, it was taken out and again allowed to dry. Then it was put through a process called . This removed all the refuse and what remained was combed out. Then it was put in bundles and spun in coarse ropes like sugán. Afterwards it was spun into finer thread and bound into bundles. Then it was sent to the weaver. Those weavers were to be met with all over the country for it was a great industry at the time. They were capable of making some very nice articles.
