  1. Field names written by Lily Walsh age 14.
There is a field called the Session-house on our land. It is called that on account of a court house that was built on it where petty sessions used to be held. There is another field called "Staceys" park. It is called after a man who lived in it in 1798. There is another field called Middletons field because there was a man named Middleton lived in it. There is another field called "Owns" there was a Mrs Owny who had a "shebeen" some hundred years and she used to put out her customers at Eleven. So there is a noise heard still every night.
