bells of the old churches preserved in the town.
The fine bells of Selskar are in River Street Church, Liverpool.
Let us hope they may sometime be restored to the old town by the Slaney.
The old bell of Mulrankin Church, when taken down about five years ago was found to be inscribed in the Black letter of the sixteenth century, and is undoubtedly a pre-Reformation bell. It is at present in the porch of the Church.
St Mary's ought to be especially dear to all Wexford people as the burial place of Dr Luke Wadding Bishop of Ferns 1672-91.
Ware says that John Devereux first Protestant Bishop of Ferns 1566-78 is buried here.
