  1. There are several games of Heckers and the one I am going to describe is called "Boys Heckers" but every one plays it. Any number of players can play this game.
    First two lines are drawn and they are measured by our feet one on top of the other.
    Then it is divided in half and the big one is put in the first bed (for that is what they are called) and the figure two is put in it.
    Then there is another bed made but it is not divided and the figure three is put in it.
    Then another bed is made and divided and there are two figures put in them four and five.
    After that another bed is made and the figure is put in it, then one more bed is made and the figures seven and eight put in it and then the game starts.
    A stone is got and put in the first bed and the person who is playing
