  1. My Father sows potatoes at home. He sows about a quarter of an acre. My uncle prepares the ground. He always manures the ground before he ploughs the ground, harrows it and rolls it until it is fine. Then he gets a double plough and makes the drills. He always gets medium sized potatoes for seed.
    When the people are not busy they help each other to sow the potatoes. The people clay the potatoes and spray them in the summer.
