- 83My Home DistrictI live in the townsland of Duncannon which is situated in the parish of Ramsgrange. The parish of Ramsgrange is situated in the barony of Shelburne. Duncannon was called after Conan Maol one of the Fianna. It is called Ramsgrange because a man named Ram owned a sheep ranch there and it was called Ramsgrange ever afterwards. It is called Shelburne because a man named Byrne lived there long ago and therefore it was named after him. There are fifty five families in the townsland.
