    Warts.
Fill an old stocking with pebbles and rub the warts on it.
Then leave it where someone is likely to find it. If anyone touches it he will get the warts, and yours will disappear.
    To stop Blood
Catch a sparrow; split her; apply one half of her to the wound, and throw the other half away.
    Boils
Head green cabbage leaves at the fire. Squeeze the juice out of them. Put this on the boil.
    Stye.
Dip a gooseberry thorn in holy water and hold it to the stye. Then throw it away.
