   When the horses hair grows long it is cut when its finished it is brushed with a brush which is kept seperately for that purpose. When the people are calling the horse the say "puk" and the horse comes and when they say "whee" and he stands.

   I have no churn at home but Mrs Kearney has one. It is about 3 feet high and 2 feet in width. It is called a round about churn The sides are round but I do not no its age. The various parts of it are the round iron hooks which keep the long wooden staves together. There is a lid which prevents the milk from spilling out while it is been churned.
