    Local Poet (continued)
    III
Where many a brave old Fenian
Who lost his house and home
    Because he loved his country
    Now lies beneath the loam
    Where many a nameless Tabbot
    Unknown - uncanonized,
Awaits the crown he lived for
    The only crown he prized.
    IV
    Where many a patient mother
    Far from her children sleeps
While no one comes to say a prayer
Tis but the wind that weeps
    And Cromwell's days are over
The Black and Tans have fled
And here our friends despised in life
    Are trampled on when dead.
