    One evening as Mrs Mulligan was going to her home She met a man, who enquired if the Sergeant was in,that he wanted him and Constable McCarty to come and inspect a pass, that a neighbour was trying to prevent him from using. Well said Mrs Mulligan "You wont see the Sergeant tonight, as he is out on temporlilly duty, and Constable McCarty replied for leave, and he will be off in the morning"
