- Killoe parish is a narrow stretch of land. It stretches from Lisnanagh to within a mile of Drumlish. It takes its name from the little townland of Killoe which has only two families at present. There is only about one hundred acres of land in the whole townland.
Situated on the top of a hill in the middle of the townland is Killoe graveyard. Beside it stands Killoe Protestant Church. There was a Catholic Church there one time but when Cromwell came to this Country his soldiers burned it and afterwards(continues on next page)- Collector
