    There is a house in Clooncarn and they have a custom of leaving clean water on the dresser for the fairies and also they sweep the hearth clean for them.
    It is a custom with the people when they enter a house in which churning is going on for to take the dash and give a brash to the milk,-i,e, simply churn it a little. If this is not done it is supposed that the person takes away some of the
