    be laid to rest in the same graveyard as their ancestors.
    The tomb-stones in each of those burial grounds are mostly of granite. The oldest of them date back to about the eighteenth century and the inscriptions on some are hardly descernible. It is interesting to study the inscriptions on some of the tomb-stones. Some are in Irish, and the writing on some is very different from that of the present day.
