He has a frame with holes all round on it. When starting he sticks the sallies round in the holes and plaits more sallies round them. He can make an eight stone cleave and you could weigh a cue of potatoes in it. He makes turf baskes for carrying turf out the bog when it is very wet and when you could not get in with an animal. A woman name Mrs. Peggy Fagan used to spin her own wool. She used card it and tease it and send it away to be woven into cloth.
