- I play many games namely 'Hide and Seek, Tig, Fox Tig, Thread- thread the Needle and we all go sew, Skipping and Hurling. All those are outdoor games. The games I play indoors are, Tip-top Castle, Fox and Goose, Cards, Snakes and Ladders and Whispers.
Hide and Seek is played by one girl hiding and the other children going looking for her. All children taking part in playing tig gather in a ring and spell tig to find who has it, and the person who has the tig follows the others in a wild chase to give them the tig. Fox-tig is played by one child being a fox and following the others to catch them until there is only one left. Thread thread the needle and we all go sew is played by each child turning backwards and threading in and out through each other until they are all sewed. Skipping is played by getting a rope and winding it round and at the same time jumping across it.
Tip-Top played by getting a pencil and making a ring. Then put a stroke out from the ring and put numbers on the stroke. You close your eyes then and keep the pencil round the ring saying "Tip-Top Castle ere and I. If I(continues on next page)- Collector
