  1. Ned Garland is a good story-teller. He lives in Gibbonstown. Here is a story which he told me.
    A young doctor and an old doctor went to see a patient. "You had eggs for breakfast" said the old doctor to the patient. The patient said he had. When they were going home the young doctor asked the old doctor how did he know the patient used eggs. " I saw the shells in the corner", said the old doctor.
    The next day the young doctor went alone to see the patient. When he came back the old doctor asked him how the patient was. "He is alright" said the young doctor. "How do you know"? said the old doctor. "He had an ass for breakfast", said the young doctor. "How do you know"? said the old doctor. " I saw the
