Old men and women were taught there.
There is an old ivy bush in Keeffe's field corbestown and there stood an old school under it. Master Lynch taught in it fifty five children attended it. The old school fell after a while but the remains of it stands in that place yet. Master Lynch taught in it untill it fell, then he went round the District teaching.
