    My father's father once sent a man named Denis Fox for Conor as he had a sick cow. Fox said that when he went to Conors he said "is that you Denis Fox" before the door was opened, "is the cow very bad". He then came with him to see the cow. I am unable to say if he cured her or not.

  2. Conor Sheridan was born in the County Cavan at a place called Mullaghoran, he was supposed to be educated for the church and when his education was nearly completed it seems he failed. When he came home to live with his people it is believed they were not satisfied with him so he left home and went to live in Co Meath at a place called Dromone Near Old Castle.
    He started to practice an art known in those days as "Fairyman", he was not long there when he became known all over the country side for his great powers. He had not so much power as Country
