    Cough- grass for a cold
    Buttercups - for a complaint known as hearthburn
    Chicken-weed for a swoollen joint.
    House-leek for sore eyes
    Marsh-mallow for cattle with swoollen udders
    Colts foot for sore throats
    These medicines are used for the diseases named. The herbs are boiled in as little water as possible so that the medicine may be strong
    Salve is made for cuts and wounds with the little flower which we see growing in our lanes known as wild pansies.
    Dandelion juice is good to drink for a week heart and bones.
