  1. A Ghost Story
    There is a certain house named Patrick Lynches of Ansgrove in Castletown and in olden days it was haunted with ghosts. I often heard my mother telling the story.
    There was a priest named Father Quillan who came from Carrick parish. He banished all the ghosts out of this house. He settled three of them in the lake between the froth and the water and the other in Dern an Mara (??) which is now known as Goresport.
